Jerry Sic (Born in 1942) was born in Nebraska. He studied art at the Otis Parsons Institute at UCLA and the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. His work has been described as Expressionism and Impressionistic. His style which is referred to as "drawing with paint" sets his work apart from the works of other artists with in its ability to combine both contemporary and traditional elements at the same time. His works can be found in numerous private and corporate collections in the United States and throughout Europe. Sic’s recent work with Italian ceramic tiles and mosaics has brought a new fresh dimension to this ancient art form. He has been painting for many years and he admits it has been interesting and very insightful. His art inspires both the upcoming and established artists, and they can be seen adorning many prestigious spaces around the world.
