Christine Debrosky Wall Art

Christine Anne Debrosky (Born December 10, 1951) is an American painter and educator. She was raised in Kingston, New York by her parents John Michael and Eileen Mary Schupp. Christine earned Associate of Arts from Ulster Co Community College, New York in 1971. She started her career as a Staff instructor at Woodstock School of Art, Woodstock, New York in 1998. Christine has held many exhibitions at different places like America, Italy and even Russia. Some of the platforms where she has held exhibitions include Southern Vermont Arts Center, The Hudson Valley, A New light, Pastels at Butler Insurance of America Art, Europastel, Italy, and St. Petersburg, Russia and many more. Besides such exhibitions, her works have been featured on a number of magazines, including Pastel Journal, and Pratique des Artes. They have also been displayed on a television and a movie set.

Christine uses a unique combination of color and light to display different moods and express her subjects the best way. Her favorite topic is Nature bathed in light. She believes that sunlight of different seasons at different places and at different timings can make a normal sight unusual and stunning. Christine was introduced to pastel by Albert Handell during a workshop. She’s also well skilled in art making using oil paints. Her creative pieces have earned several awards and have seen her win several commissions. Christine loves writing, traveling to different places, photography, crafting, hiking and obviously painting. Her original works and reproductions are available in diverse locations and are found in prints, canvas, lamination, and framed finishing options.
