C.J. Groth, also known as Connie, is an award-winning Key West photographer who displays and sells her Florida Keys photos online and at Guild Hall Gallery. Her spectacular landscapes, seascapes, street and architectural photography are prized by collectors throughout the world. The photographer has earned both commercial success and artistic acclaim with her stunning photographic images. She also displays photos of her travels through Cuba, the US, and Europe, a special portfolio and a seasonal autumn display of fantasy photos which she montages in Photoshop. C.J. holds an M.B.A. and has both Bachelor and Master Degrees in Journalism and Media Communication. She has been a photographer since the early 1970s, but retired from formal engagements in 1998 to devote-full time attention to her art. The 2004 cover of the local BellSouth phonebook is graced by her photographs which also grace two editions of “The Kenyon Review,” a literary journal.
Her photos were also chosen by the Key West Author’s Co-op for the covers of there recent books. The photographs have a wide following in both the commercial and art worlds. C.J.’s iconic images of Cuba and the Florida Keys have won awards in four international photographic competitions. Her art has been displayed in more that 10 art galleries and is on permanent display at Guild Hall Gallery in Key West, Florida. C.J. has received many honors including a major permanent installation in the New Key West International Airport. She’s the past chairperson of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts.
