Caroline Gold (Born 1955) is an English artist born in London. Her love for art saw her attend Chelsea College of Art before proceeding going for a postgraduate degree in European Film Studies. The study gave her the necessary jumpstart for the film industry. She created several short films for cinemas and a top-notch drama series for BBC television. Such achievements that saw her grow in popularity. However, deep inside, she knew that such works were as a result of her cast's creativity and portrayed only a bit of her input. Caroline decided to switch her career to explore more of her artistic talent. She stopped every other thing in 1998 and started creating her paintings full time. That saw her start getting small time jobs from different people and companies. At some point, she started getting more contracts to create CD and book covers, children's books and greeting cards.
Caroline recently started creating her own works for the fine art print market segment. She uses both oil and watercolors to make her paintings, which she sells through Clairmonte Gallery in Brighton, the Mall Galleries, The Royal Society for Watercolor Painters, and The Angel Gallery in London. Caroline's paintings are semi abstract while her drawings are realistic and capture miniature details. She's skilled in working with both her drawing and painting skills to get her desired results. Caroline’s subjects range from landscapes, seascapes, skyscapes, and a host of other subjects that capture her artistic eye.
