Jane Carroll is an artist based in the US. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1979 from the School of Visual Arts in New York. After her graduation, she apprenticed with Korean and Japanese masters painters for six years, incorporating their techniques into her own style of painting. Jane left New York in 1986 and relocated to Los Angeles where she began working as a freelance artist. She has been selling her work ever since through major showrooms and galleries in New York, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and throughout the United States. Today, her work can be found in hotels, collections and homes across the US, including the lobby and room of the newest Disney Hotel in Orlando, the Vice Presidential and Presidential suites of the Marriott in San Francisco, the lobby of the Hawaii Hilton, and the Bel-Aire Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Major galleries displaying her work include Fidelity Fine Arts, Las Angeles, Connoisseur Gallery, New York, Echo and Associates, Los Angeles, Dyversified Art, California, and Coburn & Schwartz, Los Angeles. Mixing imagination with realism, her images evoke a sense of peace and contemplation amidst vibrant color. Her attention to color and detail is unmatched and describes locales where many souls have traveled, all from the perspective of one artist. Her timeless eye for beauty in nature captures the hearts of many who are searching for fulfillment. In 2001, Jane wrote a letter to Oprah Winfrey introducing her work and herself. Three days later she received a call from Oprah’s office asking her to come up with a retail product for her “O” List which she did.
