Leo Burns has loved art for as long as he can remember. He has an outgoing personality that has made it possible for him to win many contracts and to work with different people. Over the years his clients’ base has expanded to several countries and now includes some of the most esteemed clients in the world. The artist has worked individually and collaboratively on a variety of projects for several years. His art are found in almost all corners of the world. He spent his formative years in San Francisco where his drawing skills were noticed by family, friends and teachers at an early age and he was encouraged by them to join the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. After finishing his studies here, he went ahead to obtain his Masters in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design.
He decided to settle in Atlanta and his work continues to be collected all over the world - nationally and internationally. Burns doesn’t really have anything or rites that get him into the creative mood. He finds that it just comes naturally by just picking up the art materials and starting the process; it comes easily, though at times it takes a long time to get into the creative mood. His abstracts are defined by glimmering, soothing color blocks of sky, sea and land whose positions he sometimes swings to challenge the perceptions of the viewers. His highly creative artworks are collected in the U.S. and worldwide.
