Jesse Canales Art Prints

Photographer Jesse Canales is a native of San Antonio Texas, but at the age of two his family relocated to California. He went on to study Biology in Northern California, where he discovered and developed his skill for black and white nature photography. He is a self taught photographer, however he has taken a number of classes and workshops which helped him hone his skill. He has been included in a number of group shows in San Diego, where he currently lives, as well as in Los Angeles. He also had a solo show January, 2004. His primary influences are Edward Weston, Edward Steichen, Paul Strand, Ansel Adams as well as Minor White and Imogen Cunningham.
