Robert Moore (Born in 1957) born in Idaho (Burley). He’s a tall and soft spoken artist who possesses a courtesy and sincerity reflective of his upbringing in Idaho farm. Moore was raised near the Snake River and this is what sparked his appreciation for nature. He has been described by many as a contemplative, quiet individual. Moore discovered at a young age that art was a way to freely express his feelings. His belief in discipline and practical background led him to Eastern Oregon State College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with teaching credentials in art. Due to his hard work, he received a full scholarship to attend The Art Center College of Design in California. Here, Moore earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in illustration and graduating with honors.
He has exhibited at Great Falls, Montana, Trailside Galleries, Jackson, Carmel, California, Art Center College of Design; Pasadena, Big Sky Journal, Scottsdale, Arizona, Southwest Art, Western Art Collector, and Society of Illustrators in New York, New York, among others. His travels have taken him to the U.S, Europe, and China and extensively throughout Canada. Moore has become a highly sought-after instructor in recent years, and he teaches multiple workshops a year. His paintings have energy and a characteristic mood about them that invite viewers to experience the beauty he sees in nature. He wants the viewers to feel that they have actually visited the scenes he captures. Moore is counted among the best artists in the world and his art is easily recognizable.
