Golie Miamee was born in Michigan. She’s an Iranian-American artist. Art has always been a passion for her, and it has also been her primary form of expression. Her travel adventure started when she was just one month old. Her parents went with her on a trip to Iran where she spent the first ten years of her life and it is here that she discovered her interest in art at the age of eight. She’s now a world traveler who loves to photograph and capture her journeys. She has a background in Visual Arts, Graphic Design and Computer Science – she switched her focus to photography about 10 years ago. The artist considers herself a visual artist, rather than a traditional photographer. Roused by the world, her passion for travel and love for photography have allowed her to capture memorable moments of culture, people, nature, art, places, and much more.
She sees every photograph as an image that can come to life with an artistic touch; and she hopes that each one of her pieces of art gives her viewers the same enjoyment and bliss as it does for her. Golie ventures developing new media techniques and expanding her work by adding more destinations from around the world. This as made her art to always look fresh and has increased their collectability. Some of the leading institutions hang her art on their wall for inspirational purposes.
