Megan Morris is a self taught graphic designer, painter, artist, photographer and illustrator. He’s originally from New Zealand but currently works and lives in Buckinghamshire, England. He’s been selling his paintings and artwork since 2006. From then to date, he’s sold more than 2700 paintings internationally. The artist has always had a strong love for sketching, drawing and painting and has been creating artwork through his love of drawing and painting for as long as he can remember. His style is quite eclectic, and he enjoys painting in a variety of styles, landscape, abstract art, cityscape art and seascape. He also has a collection of floral and fantasy paintings which he loves to paint, additionally, he also paints large modern, contemporary, urban and abstract art for home staging and for interior designers.
Morris mainly paints in acrylic paint but also uses mixed media, water color and oil paint in his work and creates his own mediums for texture. His paintings are vibrant and bright in color and in his collection of paintings the viewers can find pieces from yellow, orange and red, to teal, blue and green and softer pastel colors such as mauve, purple, pink, and the more neutral colors, beige, brown, grey, cream, white and black. He also has a great love and interest for photography and has recently been travelling all over Europe, taking photos of beautiful subjects such as seascapes, landscapes, animals, flowers, historic structures and buildings which he’s gradually adding to his portfolio. He spent 13 years in graphic design before he started painting professionally.
