Acrylics and watercolor have always been Linda Baliko’s favored medium and she’s enjoying the opportunity to work quickly with the mediums and with the great flexibility they offer when she has special requests. She started her art career as a fashion illustrator before she decided to become a painter. She’s worked in Atlanta, Pittsburgh and New York City. Over the years, other fields of art signaled and she worked as a graphic designer in advertising and also in the commercial field. The artist enjoys her work doing people and pet portraits as well as working with murals and hand painted furniture. Her work is in many public and private collections and they can also be seen on many products. Linda loves art and she cannot imagine doing any other thing. Even though she has been an artist for many years, Linda is still open to learning.
She likes to visit galleries, museums and even libraries to study the works of other artists that she admires. She also likes to associate with her fellow artists so as to share their experiences. Linda like art because she believes it is the best way to express her feelings about her subjects. She says that an image speaks more than a thousand words; that’s why she wants her images to be as detailed as possible. Her art are highly priced by many discerning collectors who consider them as their most valued assets. She has managed to attract some esteemed clients because she’s able to beat her deadlines.
