Jess Aiken loves the connection between the home and art, so moving on to designing art for the home was a natural progression - she started her art career working in interior design. Working from her home studio in Rhode Island (Providence), known as the "Creative Capital", she’s is inspired by the dynamic activity of city life and the natural beauty of nearby beaches. For her, being able to create art and thrive every day is the perfect balance. She never takes herself too seriously, and always has fun. She’s grateful to be able to make art for a living. Her skills include Typography, Illustration, Art Direction, Posters, Graphics, and InDesign. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from State University of New York at New Paltz, where she studied from 1999 to 2003.
She’s the current Art Director at Wild Apple Graphics, and had previously worked at Artist Liaison & NBL, and at Applejack Art Partners/Bruce McGaw Graphics. He also worked with Susan Sargent Designs as an Interior Designer. Jess believes that art stirs emotional experiences and our unconscious feelings, and also inspires self-awareness. Because of the dazzling manner in which he executes his work and visualizes his subjects, Jess has been recognized as one of the top contributors to the art of this century. Upcoming artists look upon him as a source of inspiration. He had a life long ambition to be a professional artist, and directed all his energy towards achieving this dream. This came to pass and has achieved this dream.
