David Iwane (Davies Babies) loves all his babies equally and treats them all with the same care and tenderness they deserve. He’s affiliated to 303 Photography, Monark Clothing and Travellers Music. Iwane is a Photographer, Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator based in Colorado. He has been an artist his whole entire life and always wanted to make a living off of it. Penetrating the market was not easy, and realizing how tough it is to make a living in the fine arts world, so in high school he worked very hard and discovered a whole new world in the digital arts. Iwane immediately fell in love with digital photography and taught himself how to use Photoshop. After a lot of practice, doing a lot of manipulations and editing with photos, he started exploring graphic design and also began doing designs for a local clothing company. Upon completion of high school, he attended Front Range Community College, continued to pursue his career in Digital Art and got his Associates in Applied Science.
His focus was on Print & Presentation. At FRCC, he obtained an immense amount of knowledge in many different fields. Iwane spent a lot of time learning the Adobe Programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Flash Catalyst, Flash, Garage Band, Firework, etc. he also learned things like web design, typography, animation, web layout, photo manipulations, vector illustration, deadlines, teamwork, management of priorities, responsibility, time, and so much more. In 2012, he graduated from FRCC and since then he has been working with clients like Urban Outfitters, GAP, Society 6, Threadless, Mighty Wallet, Design Milk, Griz, This Song Is Sick, The Kase, Monark Clothing, Travellers Music, Vandal, Low Key and Moombroton.
