Kostyantyn Ivanyshen is a Videographer, illustrator and Vector Artist from Ukraine. Without the use of computer and graphics art, we would have never got to see “breathing”, “living” dinosaurs. The skeletal reconstructions at natural history found in museums can only take our imagination so far. But not with Ivanyshen – he makes the viewers feel that they have actually seen the dinosaurs. That's why this paleo-artist is so important: this unsung hero literally "fleshes out" the discoveries made by field researchers, and can make a 100-million-year-old dinosaur seem as real as a working breed. His skill in 3d-illustration and photography makes him produce pieces of art look as real as possible. His depictions of pterosaurs, dinosaurs, and other prehistoric animals are colorful, crisp, and structurally faultless.
His work has appeared in books and scientific papers all over the world, and his illustrations have become more ambitious in their scope – viewers can witness his many, lifelike tableaux of theropods and sauropods doing battling one another or his attractive and richly detailed Mesozoic seascapes. Ivanyshen is one of the most respected-artists in the world. He’s produced images of pre-historic animals for natural history museums and his work has appeared in many leading magazines. Illustration is such an integral part of his life and he feels a void when he takes breaks from his work; Ivanyshen says that nothing is more exciting to him than to create a canvas and give it a life of its own; adding that he loves the brush strokes, the variety of subject matters and the colors.
