Lincoln Harrison was born and raised in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. He hasn’t been a photographer for many years but he has skills of someone who has long spanning experience. His intention was not to take up photography as a career. In fact, when he bought his camera just a few years back, he only wanted to photograph some items for eBay. However, when he went out and shot some landscapes to use as desktop wall paper for his PC, he got hooked to photography. Photography became his hobby, and a week later he had about eight lenses and all the other goodies. He couldn't wait to get started. He has now made photography his second career. He currently balances his full-time job with photography and hopes to commit to photography full-time in the near future.
Harrison has been a tremendous source of inspiration to many upcoming artists. The artists who feel like they want to give up on photography usually get back into the business after viewing his work and hearing his story. He’s been going into the Australian outback several times a week to take pictures. He mainly does seascapes and night sky shots. Looking at his works, it's now hard to believe that he has been taking photos for just a few years. But he still looks for new and inventive ways to improve his work. Harrison’s photographs reflect a balance of emotion and technical skill. Already, his works are found in several institutions and in several of private and corporate collections all over Australia.
