Ali Benyon is an author and textile designer, living and working from her studio in a tiny corner of the Cheshire countryside. At her studio, she creates pattern designs (surface) for licensing purposes worldwide. She also produces a bespoke range of paper and textile products, using her unique and vibrant signature style. She has always been strongly influenced by her travels all over world. Ali has lived in many countries all over Europe, but it is in Australia that her biggest influences have come from because she lived there for 10 years. Her inspiration stems from the contemporary and clean lines, the bold, fresh colors and the straightforwardness that living in Australia has to offer. During those years, her heart never stopped beating hard and she has passion for Britain and the country cottage feel one only gets in an English home; with the wild flowers, rolling hills, green countryside, pots of tea, and pretty, gorgeous coastal villages.
This strong love of British surroundings and with an Aussie angle thrown in, her works offer fresh, bright, contemporary look with a welcoming feel. For over twenty years, Ali has worked in the creative and textile industry and has been running her own business successfully for six years. She uses her experience to write many articles about working within the design field. These articles have helped a lot of people over the years to start and run their own design businesses. Her collection of paper products and homeware are all designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, using recycled materials where possible.
