Cynthia Coulter, a native of New Jersey, was inspired into painting at a very young age by her grandmother, a gifted artist. Over the years, Cynthia honed her artistic skills and expanded her media knowledge, mastering art making in acrylics, oils, and mixed media. She enjoyed taking rides to New York-based museums to see the works of other established artists, drawing further inspiration for her artistic pursuits. After completing her college studies, however, she decided to take a break from creating own work, choosing to take a job with a wallpaper manufacturer. Nevertheless, Cynthia’s inner drive to create art continued even as she was working for the company and it’s that drive that has seen her continue to work relentlessly in the art field.
Her works represent a combination of diverse artistic elements characterized by a mix of romantic floral and geometric shapes or abstracts. Cynthia’s creative pieces are inspired by flowers, landscapes, leaves, and several other elements of nature. Besides her knowledge and experience in making beautiful decorative art, she’s also a skillful designer in the wall covering field. Cynthia continues to grow in the field as she embraces new ideas and practically experiences them. This has not only led to the creation of beautiful art, but also quality art, a fact that has seen them displayed in high profile galleries and collections across the globe.
Many of Cynthia’s works have been licensed to different galleries and art dealerships and can be purchased in a variety of finishing options, including lamination, canvas, and framed.
