Bruce Nawrocke (Born in 1954) was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is where he grew up but he now resides in Florida. The early morning and evening light and the change of seasons gives him the opportunity to burn the candle at both ends when it comes to shadow and light and aerial perspective. He’s a great painter and each of his painting is treated individually with a complete transformation of color palette. He says that the dynamic spectrums, the change of seasons and light and shadow changes give him inspiration. He wants the viewer to transform themselves within the scene and feel as if they are part of the painting. Nawrocke strives to give his images the depth (3D effect) that exists in reality.
To achieve this has taken him years of effort, dedication, as well as experimentation with different mediums such as double primed, Russian or Belgium linen and acrylic. He says that he wants the viewer to feel and experience the scene through his eyes. Instead of spending hours to create a painting, Nawrocke spends weeks or even months on each painting. This is why he’s able to achieve the 3D feel in each painting. Not only is the time committed to each painting important, but equally important is the material he paints them on. He believes in longevity for his art, which gives his clients an investment that they can hand down from one generation to the next. This explains why many collectors like to stock his art.
