Beth Albert loved painting from her childhood, and her paintings have been collected for a very long time. Her intuitive talent developed quickly and her paintings are now in corporate and private collections worldwide. She creates her designs by putting together different elements and styles. She uses scanned objects, some original paintings of hers, vintage graphics and digitally created images to make a design. She also develops her paintings from direct observation. Beth prefers the folk art look, repurposed, handmade, unique and naive. She is always looking for the beauty in things that are simple, discarded and forgotten. That’s what describes her style. All her paintings display a delicacy of touch, simplicity of application, and a wonderful understanding of color.
Her love of making things has always been a part of her and making things and making do with old things has always been a way of her life. Her most valuable qualification is the passion for everything that she works with. Her images have been published on posters, greeting cards, calendars, and stationery around the world. All her images promise to inspire and delight all new artists and all who view them. As a child, her mom and aunts were always painting old furniture and redecorating. They used antiques in new ways to create fresh looks. She was inspired by her grandmother who lived on a farm and was a school teacher. Her grandmother created a sparkling beautiful home with simple old elements and lots of hard work. That’s where Beth learnt to make her surroundings to be pleasing and unique using simple things.
