Keri Bevan is a London-based photographer. Many who have run across her work are intrigued by its ethereal and vintage quality. Those who love finding new artwork have found Keri’s art to be the best choice because of their low prices that make fine art accessible to nearly everyone. She grew up in Portland, and attended college in Olympia. Although Keri tries her hand in photography, her field of study was American Literature, another form of art quite far from photography. After graduation she moved clear across the country, and worked for many years in New York in the fashion industry. She built a career mainly on the corporate side in the fashion industry, but fashion introduced her to a world of shapes, textures and colors that work harmoniously together, and re-kindled her passion for visual arts.
She was very fortunate to travel often during her years in New York. These travels helped her discover her passion for travel photography. Her primary focus became capturing the familiar occurrences of life in different places. She was lucky to be able to go to Korea and Japan, both places that captured her imagination. While on vacation in Jamaica, she met her British husband, and they decided to settle in London. London provides the subject of much of her photography. It has provided her with a fascinating canvas for her photography. She says that London is both modern and historic, full of hidden quiet spots, teeming with life, and also boasts beautiful open parks.
