Since 2003, Grant Louwagie has been living in Denver Colorado. Originally from Minnesota, the artist has worked as a freelance designer and professional artist since he moved to Denver Colorado. His work is featured in commercial and residential environments both around the United States and in Colorado. Louwagie works in a variety of mediums including multi-media abstract, graphic illustration, epoxy-resin art and encaustic abstract. Currently, he focuses on large format, site specific abstract landscapes which he does in epoxy-resin. Louwagie believes that art can stir past emotional experiences and our unconscious feelings, while also inspiring integrity and self-awareness. Many new artists look upon his art as a source of inspiration. He has had a life long ambition to be a professional artist, and has directed all his energy towards achieving this dream.
