Karen Fields is happy to have viewers visit her profile to view her paintings. She invites viewers to contact her to create a custom painting for them. She’s very happy to work with everyone. Her paintings are very acrylic, colorful, and vibrant on stretched canvas. She loves large, raw brush strokes and her subjects range from still lifes to very abstract. She enjoys color like crazy and if she gets an idea in her head, she’ll experiment and then possibly create a series of different yet similar paintings. She’s loved art her whole life and whenever there was an opportunity to give back to the society or to be involved with something creative or to take a class, she was always a part of it. Karen studied art at Ringling School of Art and Design. Here, she majored in Graphic Design. She then worked in publishing and advertising and print areas her whole career.
Currently, she’s a painter and she paints on daily basis. Her work is full of larger brush strokes and vibrant color. As a fine artist, her paintings are collected all over the world. She’s recently expanded her listings on the internet. She says painting gives her the opportunity to give back to the community in both meaningful and positive ways. She’s thankful each day for her God-given gifts. Painters who have inspired her include Kandinsky, Klimt, Matisse, and other painters who embrace fauvism. She finds that painting gives her peace and puts her in a place where she can focus on the beauty that is all around her.
