Carolyn Cochrane has a passion for creating beautiful images that are inspired by nature. She’s a self-taught photographer whose eyes are always scanning her surroundings for beauty and meaning and she’s continually captivated by shape, light, texture and color. For many years she searched for the right way to express herself creatively but could never find the perfect fit. She started by dabbling in jewelry making, painting, music, crocheting, and scrapbooking, but when she landed on photography she instantly knew she had found her true passion. Today, there’s nothing she loves more than being outside on a beautiful day with her camera. Carolyn has always been so enchanted by the wonder and beauty of our natural world. Her photography has a clean, pure, and uncomplicated style. She likes to keep things simple.
She believes that the simplest of subjects often create the most powerful images. Carolyn is a self-taught photographer who creates different moods through the use of texture, color and light. And she says this is the best form of expression she has ever found, and she adds a little piece of her soul and heart in each image she creates. She hopes that her work will touch and inspire each person who views it. By enhancing the colors of each photograph, she creates a perspective and style that’s truly her own. All her photographs are printed on professional grade paper with using archival pigment inks. From the time she was very young, she’s been fascinated by art and by artists.
