Justin Spivey is a photographer who grew up and lives in the Miami Valley Ohio area. He has a degree in Commercial Photography and Graphic Design. Spivey is a 2000 graduate of the Ohio Institute of Photography. He loves photography, and that’s why today it is not easy to find him without his camera. His passion for photography started at a young age and has never subsided. This is because he has a large respect and appreciation for creativeness - be it hand-created pieces or photography. His artistic roots began with paintings and hand drawn sketches as well as building and making creatively. Spivey likes to photograph a variety of things, either out in the world or in his studio.
On any given day in his studio, he can be found doing a variety of things. For example, he can be found working on a still life set with one light, or working with clients to achieve the perfect portrait. One of his favorite things to do is shooting outside, in this setting Spivey can be found bringing a scenic area to life, or doing action shots at a rodeo. Spivey is constantly inspired by the people that have an emotional attachment to the work that he produces and also by his daughter Haley. His art has been to many exhibitions and shows where they have been the center of attraction. That’s why they have received positive reviews and can be found in many collections worldwide. They can also be found in many homes and also in private and public institutions.
