Amy Wilson (Born 1973) is an American fine art artist who was born in New York City. She has had her love for painting for several years, something that compelled her to join School of Visual Arts in New York City where she graduated in 1995 with a bachelor of fine arts. Aimee didn't stop there; instead she proceeded to Yale University in New Haven, in Connecticut, where she graduated with Masters of Fine Art in 1995. Her primary medium is watercolor, although she also works with pencil on paper. She mostly uses pencil and paper to make her drawings, books, and for designing her three-dimensional sculptural works. Aimee speaks to viewers through her art, mostly saying something about her life. Her works are sold through BravinLee programs, a gallery based in Chelsea, New York. To unambiguously pass he messages, she creates artwork that provides a collage of figures and text.
Besides painting her own artwork, Aimee also teaches drawing and art history at the School of Visual Arts. To reach out to more customers, partners, and to expand her artistic network, she gets involved in a lot of both solo and group exhibitions.
