Janel Pahl produces images with distinct and original look because of her decorative enhancements and special treatments. Her style has made her art to be very popular with many art enthusiasts. She’s a Master Photographer and has been her main medium for more than 3 decades. However, she recently added, encaustic waxes, hand made papers and acrylic paints to go along with her photographs. With these she aims to create images with warmth, depth and texture. Her style is focused on dramatic and natural lighting evoking emotion. The style gives the viewer a sense of reality, and also conveys painterly effects with emotion. Janel’s goal as a photographer is to cause one to pause, look at her art more than once and rest in a pure form of beauty. She also teaches photography and has inspired professional and aspiring photographers around the world.
Janel has presented her workshops throughout the United States and in Italy, Canada, Korea, Ireland and England. Along with her fine art images, her portraits are published with Winn Devon, a Canadian art group. In 2009, the artist was featured in Décor Magazine as one of the Artists to watch for in that year. She has attended numerous art shows and exhibitions where her art has received positive reviews from art critics. Her images have also won many national and international awards. Janel loves art and produces high quality pieces. She’s a national judge for the Professional Photographers of America, a position that has helped to promote her artwork.
