The Chelsea Collection was founded by Gary Kuehnle. After a teaching career and 10 years as a show dealer in antiques, he formed the G.B. Kuehnle Company in 1982. Fine arts specialist, Eric Lund joined the firm in 1986. The two partners achieved status of Senior Appraisers with respective specialties in Fine Arts and Antiques and Decorative Arts. As a service to their clients, they also developed an extensive network to broker properties that needed exposure in larger markets.
