Maurizio Piovan (Born June, 1953) has been an artist for many years, and for the many years that he has passed to contact with the colors and burlaps, they her passed under its eyes innumerable thoughts and memories to his viewers. His artistic talent was noticed by his family and others at a very early age and they encouraged him to pursue art as a career. In 1993, he dedicated himself to the creation of new recordings on slabs of zinc and branch using a procedure of etching and coloration by hand with watercolors and chine, obtaining to himself an acclaim and praise for this new way to conceive and produce graphical art. In 1994, Piovan participated in an art exhibition in collaboration with the “Ferraro-Arte” gallery of Rome. Through his art, graphical works and oil came to be known in Sardinia, Sicily, Marches, Puglia, Veneto, Lazio, Lombardy and Friuli. Being an independent explorer, Piovan is confronted daily with the experimentation of several the artistic languages.
