Katrina Craven was born and brought up in an artistic family. Her mother was also an artist and is the one who inspired her love of design and her sense of creativity. She grew up surrounded by the beauty of art. Most of her free time was spent helping her mother. She learnt a lot from her and she could use her mother’s art materials to produce her own art. From such a young age, Katrina was able to produce very attractive images. Many people who viewed her art encouraged her to pursue art as a career. She also knew that she was meant to be an artist. Following her desire to create, she decided to study art at the university. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Western Kentucky University. She majored in graphic design. She now enjoys mixing the skills she obtained from the university with painting and photography.
The artist currently lives in Indiana with her three children and husband, continuing to find inspiration in those she loves and in everything around her. She has produced several pieces of art all of which have attracted many buyers. She has a network of loyal clients who are always waiting for her new art. Katrina attributes her success to her mother, her teachers, all those who encouraged and supported her, and above all, to her own determination and hard work. Her art today adorn the walls of many prestigious buildings around the world. They are also part of many private and public collections.
