Alicia Soave (Born in 1960) was born in Toronto. She spent her early years in Boone County, Kentucky. Alicia was privately tutored and was encouraged to develop her own ideas and to express them in both design and words. She attended a variety of art classes that developed her unique ability and curiosity to see the heart and soul of a potential painting. Equally happy with a brush to re-create scenes or a camera to capture moments, she has found the beautiful North America’s landscapes to be the perfect inspiration for many of her pieces. Her works can be found in galleries and many private collections allover the world. Coming back to painting after a long absence has added enjoyment and purpose to her life. From the crashing waves of Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, to her home in the beautiful hills of Caledon, Ontario and throughout the U.S., and across the country to the magnificent forests of Vancouver Island, her images are a true reflection of the spectacular North America’s beauty.
Alicia’s need to see what is just over the next hill and her desire to explore brings her to those special places that she presents in her pictures. Her paintings and photographs have captured the attention of people across the country. Reproductions of Alicia’s images can be found in select retailers throughout Europe and North America, but her originals may only be found in private collections and galleries. Through her publishers in London and New York, her paintings and photographs decorate offices, homes, and hotels throughout Europe, the Americas, and as far away as Australia.
