Alicia Ludwig is always learning and ever changing. She enjoys everything from photography to oil pastels to Chinese brush painting. Alicia’s aim is to further her skills in the visual arts field by working in challenging environments, thereby contributing in the growth of the arts industry. She earned a BFA in 1990 from Virginia Commonwealth University at the School of the Arts. Alicia studied Advertising, Fashion Illustration and Psychology. After working hard for almost a decade, she won a cash prize in the in Richmond, Virginia’s “Undiscovered Photographers Exhibit”. She continues to design for Old World Prints. Alicia currently works as a Graphic Designer at World Art Group found in Richmond, Virginia Area. She began working here in 2005 and her responsibilities include manipulation of images and color using Photoshop, design of works of art for publishing, and maintenance of quality control.
She has also worked with Neagle's Flexo and Mobility Printing, where she worked as a Prepress Technician and Graphic Artist respectively. Alicia is a multi-talented artist with skills in Photoshop, Graphic Design, QuarkXPress, Image Manipulation, Photography, Art, Brochures, Layout, Fine Art and Painting. She also knows about Drawing, Social Media, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Wide Format Printing and production of booklets. Alicia loves her career and says she can not exchange it for anything else. She produces art in a variety of finishing options to increase their collectability. She has managed to build a reputation for herself and is now considered as one of the best artists in Virginia and beyond.
