Tara Friel is a self-taught artist who resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She specializes in painting and drawing, but loves to explore all types of art. Her inspirations come from books, light and dark, classical music, the beauty of life and death. In her youth, she had lots of tea parties with dragons, and hoped for the day when she would dance like Rogers Ginger and be a famous artist of 19th century. As she came of age, she realized that time travels so fast and nothing has ever been perfected yet, so the part about living in the past wasn't likely to work out. Tara’s hopes dashed, but she attended school, anyway, to learn about art just in case in could work out. Tara still has tea parties with dragons; she also likes to go to ballroom dances, and works as a colorist.
Tara has received support from family and friends in her works in art. Today her art has found its way into many prestigious buildings around the world. She has a wide base of fans who always keeps her busy. She knew that if she ever wanted to be a successful artist she needed to practice a lot and that’s exactly what she did. And once she started working seriously in art she started getting commissions and freelance work on a regular basis. Her art has been exhibited in many leading shows and they can be seen in many galleries the world over. Tara has always had great sell-through with her art and has spent a lot of time studying trends so that she can effectively serve her clients.
