Born in Colorado Springs, CO, artist Allayn Stevens travels the world to get inspiration for her landscapes. She has been an artist for more that 30 years. She studied art at Scottsdale Art School, and at Laguna Beach College of Art. She is a member of California Art Club. Allayn is known for landscapes and the coastal-floral views. She tries to capture the uniqueness of each location. In the last couple of years, the artist she has been focusing on her angel series and animals. She’s had solo shows at Phoenix, Arizona, Orangerie Gallery, Laguna Beach, California, Bluebird Gallery, Laguna Beach, California, Eagle Fine Art, La Jolla, California, Corona Del Mar, California, Woodbridge Gallery, Gualala, California, Dolce, Newport Beach, California, etc. she’s also participated in shows such as the Oil Painters of America National Show, and the Annual Show Contemporary Landscapes, to mention just but a few.
Allayn spends more time now in the studio getting inspiration from within. Her passion is creating art and she tries to take the viewer there with her. The artist makes the viewers see in her painting that which moves their soul. A partial list of her collectors includes Mr. & Mrs. Dick Enberg, Dr Frederick Corbin, Mr. Henry Nicholas, Mr. & Mrs. Mark Chapin Johnson, Mr. & Mrs. Richard Cadarette, and Mr. Louis Sabatasso. Allayn’s newer series of the animals and angels is a more contemporary look at her subject. Her goal is creating texture like an ancient building with layers and history.
