Egidio Antonaccio (born in 1954) is an artist who is gifted with a rare talent. He is a realistic impressionist whose oil paintings express his love of nature. Antonaccio studied with some of the great Italian masters of fine art, after which he developed a commanding and brilliant style. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Art in Castrovillari, Italy in 1973. He went ahead with his studies and in 1978 he graduated with honors from Italy’s Academy of Fine Arts. Antonaccio moved to the United States in 1981 and settled North Carolina. The shadowy hillsides, mountains, and sunlit valleys have become his inexhaustible source of inspiration. He is a multi-talented artist who is able to satisfy the varying needs of all his clients.

He has developed a unique technique that has become an envy of many artists and an admiration of his clients. Antonaccio’s technique is delicate and light and his themes are gentle and romantic; each of his painting evokes feelings of wonderment, strength and grace. From richly foliaged floral gardens filled with summer scents, to expansive and panoramic views of valleys and hillsides, Antonaccio’s ingenious imagination is unmatched. He has been remarkably successful since he went to the US. He has had the opportunity to visit many museums and to attend many art exhibitions. His works are published by the Bentley Publishing Group which one of the leading art publishing companies in the US. His works are also included into numerous corporate and private collections throughout Europe and the United States.
