Banafshe Schippel Wall Art

Banafshe Schippel is collaboration between Sue Simin and Wendy Schippel. The two artists received their first introduction to the world of design while they were growing up in Manchester, England. Both of them studied at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham where Sue Simin received her master's degree in Fine Art. They then moved to establish a small studio in the Birmingham’s Jewelry Quarter. Birmingham is the home to the largest furniture, accessory and gift show in Europe. This is how they got their exposure to the international market. Sue Simin and Wendy Schippel watch colors and the current trends. They use mixed media on paper to create their style of artwork. They originally established their studio in 1986. After graduating in Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design the two later met at Manchester Polytechnic while pursuing their Master's Degrees.

Sue Simin and Wendy Schippel share a common vision; that’s why they decided to collaborate in their artistic endeavors after their graduation. Since then their creativity has flourished and their dedication and talent has earned their studio an esteemed international reputation. Currently Banafshe Schippel Design has brought together and represents a group of exceptionally talented designers who create both hand painted and Computer Aided Designs which are dynamic and diverse, traditional and contemporary to the Home Furnishing Industry. They have travelled a lot to get inspiration for their artwork. Their clients include companies that manufacture woven and printed textiles, paper products, area rugs, bedding and bath, wallpaper, tabletop, as well as giftware and stationery.
