Fernando Palma Wall Art

Fernando Palma (Born in 1948) was born near São Paulo, Brazil. He moved to Belo Horizonte in 1969. Here, he attended Medical School and majored in Plastic Surgery. After his graduation from the medical school, he joined New York University to further his studies and completed his post-graduate degree in 1975. Two years later, he entered the Federal University of Minas Gerais, as well as the Guignard School of Art, where he completed several courses in Fine Art. All these academic trainings give him an edge over his fellow artists. And after many years of training with top Brazilian masters, he has finally become a full time artist and produces great paintings consistently. In the past few years, the artist has been working on three distinct series: “The Beauty of Gesture”, “Passion and Fantasy” and “Silent Lives.”

He keeps two studios, one on “Fazenda dos Dourados” farm, and the other in Belo Horizonte. His paintings are permanently on show in both studios. “Fazenda dos Dourados” farm is an estate he owns in Minas Gerais. Today, his work is proudly displayed in many private and public collections throughout the United States and Brazil. Palma explores the relationships that exist or are created between the object and image by incorporating multiple mediums within a single piece of art. He’s open to learning and is always on the lookout for new styles and techniques that can help him serve his clients better. His art stands out among those of other artists because of their uniqueness.
