Adam Burton has photographed many of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world, and the most beautiful specializes in the landscapes of the Unite Kingdom, more so the Southwest England. He’s one of the leading landscape photographers in the United Kingdom, and he has authored 6 books. He has been working as a full time professional landscape photographer since 2008, regularly undertaking commissions for a wide range of clients and supplying imagery. He’s a self taught photographer. He began learning photography by himself mainly from reading magazines and then putting into practice techniques while along the Dorset coastline or on location in the New Forest – this was way back in 2001. This informal training combined with hard work enabled him to develop a unique style that continues to make his photographs to be high in demand and to be instantly recognizable.
Since he began taking photography seriously, his pieces of art have been in demand both by individuals and even commercially. His images have been published regularly in national magazines and newspapers since 2004. They have also been published in calendars, greeting cards and books. He has worked for many prestigious and large organizations over this time, undertaking commissions and supplying imagery to companies including The AA, British Petroleum, the National Geographic and The Times. He now shoots exclusively digitally, but his beginnings in film photography have a strong influence in his art. As a result his photography captures natural and authentic moments in time - free from computer manipulation.
