Phyllis Burchett Wall Art

Phyllis Burchett has been manager and part owner of Burchett Training Center for more than 30 years so it was quiet natural for her to turn into a professional photographer. Her knowledge of horses helps her to fulfill her creative vision for the Equine Form as art. Phyllis’ passion for candid moments and beautiful light fuels and inspires her to make images that make the viewers to want to come along on her journey. Her photography has been recognized in many venues. The most important accolades she has received are the many First and Second place wins along with being the Grand Prize winner at BetterPhoto.com. Phyllis was the Best in Show at the 2011 Southern Flower Show in Atlanta, GA, Nominee and Finalist in the International Black and White Spider Awards. She has taken the First place in Landscape and Animal Categories, was the 2013 winner at the Southeastern Flower Show in Atlanta, GA. She took the first place in the photography division Madison Art Guild, Spring in Bloom 2011.

She’s represented by Poems Art Publishing, The World Art Group and the Arcangel-Images. She’s been published in Seascapes with Better Photo, Cowboys and Indians Magazine, Natures Best Photography Magazine, Expressions Magazine (NANPA), and Inner Reflections Calendar, and she has been featured on ViewBug. She’s currently hosting Equine Photo Workshops in Hampton, Georgia annually and she’s also teaching at the Southern Heartland Art Gallery in Covington, GA, where her art can also be seen and purchased. Phyllis leads and equine photo tour to Iceland each year.
