Linda Wacaster Wall Art

Linda Wacaster lives in Midlothian but was born and raised in the Dallas area. Linda is driven by her creative process and her passion for arts. She continuously looks at each subject as an opportunity to learn and believes that the challenges faced by painters are endless and the journey to becoming an artist is not a ride in the park. However, she says all these make life more interesting. According to her, being an artist is truly a gift because they are able to view the world from a different angle. Her creative adventures have taken her Rome, Russia, and to and many other out of the ordinary places.  However, the artist finds she is surrounded by beauty everywhere she looks.   The places include South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana, and many others. These are some of the favorite places she goes to gather valuable source material.

Linda studied with leading artists of wildlife art: Alan Hunt, John Seerey-Lester, Carl Brenders, Nancy Glazier, Terry Isaac, and many others. She loves the outdoors and wildlife and she travels worldwide to gather subject matter. Linda has a feeling that the energy, smells and sounds around her are as important to the creative process as the subject and the final product.  She has exhibited at Ellis County, Dutch Art Gallery, The Bosque Conservatory, among others, and she has received many awards such as Gold Metal Award, Fabulous Five, Women Artists of the West, Richardson Civic Art Society, etc. Linda is a member of many professional art societies.
