Todd Williams Wall Art

Todd Williams was born in Nebraska in a small farming community of Central City. He has been aware of the natural beauty of the world around him since childhood, and it is this awareness that he has continued to cultivate through the art of painting. Williams’ eagerness to pursue art began at an early age. Fortunately, he was surrounded by people who loved his work and encouraged him. At the age of only 7 years, he managed to draw a tiger that was liked by both his teachers and fellow pupils. Williams says he will never forget that feeling of acceptance from sharing his experience in color and shape. He believes that everyone is an artist at heart but they share and express it in other ways.

Williams graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Kansas City Art Institute where he studied painting and illustration. After graduation, he went on to be an in-house Senior Designer/Artist for DaySpring Cards and Hallmark Cards for the next 10 years. His work has been exhibited across the US at invitational exhibitions and in galleries and museums such as The Maynard Dixon Museum, Montgomery Museum Of Fine Arts, the Gilcrease Museum, Settlers West Gallery, the Great Plains Art Museum, Cincinnati’s Great American Artists Exhibition, “The American Miniatures Show”, and the Oil Painters of America National and Regional Exhibitions. Today, Williams excels in creative virtuosity and in the ability to paint all subject matter using spontaneous brushwork. He spends most of his time painting en plein air, a discipline which is now becoming his signature style.
