Eduardo Camoes Wall Art

Brazilian artist, Eduardo Camoes (Born 1955) has been highly acclaimed as the leading artist of historical landmarks, but he’s now turning his talent to the landscapes of America, as a young man, he had lived, worked and painted historical scenes of southern California before he went to Brazil. The call to go back to America and paint historical landmarks has become very strong for him and is destined to elevate his art to a new level. The American art community recognized him and his art now hang in many places in the US. Camoes turned his sights to the United States of America in January of 1973. By then he was an art student of seventeen. His goal in mind was to learn English and, by taking classes, get a sense of what was going on in the California Impressionist Painting School.

With fortune and good luck, Camoes was invited to spend his stay in the United States with an American family, which he came to refer to as his "adoptive American parents." He gave up his studies in Brazil and headed for the U.S. where he travelled through 40 out of the 50 states. After travelling a lot, he joined 2 art associations and began to show his art at several places in a period of one year. These shows were very successful and his talents showed in his paintings of landscapes and historical scenes of Southern California. He’s a much sought after artist and his art are admired by many viewers.
